Circadian-friendly lights are rich in 480 nm blue during the day and emit minimal 480 nm blue in the evenings and at night. This can easily be measured with a handheld spectrophotometer.

Evidence establishes that circadian-friendly lights should be less than 2 percent 440-495 nm blue in the evening and at night, and more than 20 percent 440-495 nm blue during the daytime.

Three times in the past 40 years have Republican presidents signed tax reforms into law. Contrary to what the Left likes to tell us, these reforms have reduced the tax burden on all Americans, which is the reason why no Democrat president has dared to fully reverse the Republican tax cuts.

That may end if Joe Biden is re-elected. In his recently released budget for the 2025 fiscal year, the president calls for substantial tax increases on both corporations and individuals. The Tax Foundation, a relatively neutral think tank in Washington, DC, has compiled the tax hikes and analyzed their macroeconomic effects.

Most surprisingly, the group intentionally operated far under the radar from its launch in 2019 (long before the 2020 presidential election) because its website was carefully set to be invisible to Google and other search engines. That’s right; it was hidden from the public, who couldn’t find it even by accident. But friends, including in the Biden Administration, could reach it if they were told the site’s URL, GoverningForImpact.org, and typed that into their computers. “The Freedom Flotilla has the support of millions around the world who are outraged at the failure of our governments to protect the Palestinians people from Israel’s genocidal actions, including the deliberate starvation of over two million people,” said the organizing coalition’s Zohar Chamberlain-Regev.

The group has three ships ready to go: one packed with food and medical supplies, and two ships for passengers who hail from 40 different countries. The cargo ship also has eight ambulances and a fire truck aboard — a grim reminder of the IDF’s Nov 3 bombing of an ambulance convoy next to Al-Shifa hospital that killed 15 and wounded dozens.

Tennessee’s GOP-controlled Statehouse on Thursday approved approval criminalizing adults who help minors receive gender-affirming care without parental consent, clearing the way for the first-in-the-nation proposal to be sent to Gov. Bill Lee’s desk for his signature.

As the AP reports, the bill mirrors almost the same language from a so-called anti-abortion trafficking proposal Tennessee Republican lawmakers approved just a day prior. In that version, supporters are hoping to stop adults from helping young people obtain abortions without permission from their parents or guardians.

Supporters of Lee, a Republican, are certain he will sign them into law. Lee eagerly approved a sweeping abortion ban and a ban on gender-affirming care for children. He has also never issued a veto during his time as governor.

When defendants go on trial, the allegations against them are generally clear. Not so with former President Donald Trump and his “hush money” case.

Prosecutors in Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office offered new transparency not only to the public, but seemingly also to Trump’s defense attorneys on Tuesday when, one year after indicting the former president, they finally pulled back the curtain to reveal the motivating “crime” in their case: a violation of state election law.

Former federal prosecutors told the Daily Caller News Foundation that Bragg’s lack of clarity is unfair to the defense, which can’t prepare to argue against a charge they don’t know, and unlike what they’ve seen before.

When it comes to gender politics, many in opposition acknowledge that adults have the ability to choose for themselves whether they pursue hormone therapy or body-mutilating operations, because adults can better weigh the risks of their decisions.

Children, on the other hand, are quite different from adults. Far too many kids have already become victims of medical experiments as it is.

This is what makes a law recently passed in Germany even more infuriating.

Gazan terrorists on Wednesday launched mortar shells at a site off the coast of Gaza where the United States is planning to construct a floating pier to deliver humanitarian aid, according to a report from Israeli outlet i24NEWS.

The mortar attack damaged American engineering equipment and left one person injured, i24NEWS reported on Thursday. The United States could start building the humanitarian pier as early as this weekend, with the Israel Defense Forces reportedly in charge of providing security during the construction.

In a major about-turn, British education secretary Gillian Keegan has finally admitted what most ordinary people knew all along. She has said she will no longer use the phrase “trans women are women” after a major review found that treatments for children questioning their gender are based on “remarkably weak evidence.”

Keegan claimed that her understanding of the issue has “evolved” and she has “learnt a huge amount more about this complex and challenging subject.”

The Cass Review, conducted by leading paediatrician Dr Hillary Cass, found that studies are often “exaggerated or misrepresented” to support gender ideology. It also said that children who claim to be questioning their gender may need simply to be treated for mental health issues.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine and a senior Hamas leader declared their support for the unsanctioned tent encampments roiling Columbia University and other elite American universities.

The Popular Front, a U.S.-designated terror group, released a statement Tuesday evening affirming the group’s firm support for “our students at American universities.” The statement called for “the escalation of their struggle” and condemned university administrators for implementing “policies biased with the occupation.” The terror group specifically praised the student protests at Columbia and Yale University.

The terror group’s statement coincided with a separate statement from a senior Hamas political leader, Izzat Al-Rishq, published Wednesday morning by the Resistance News Network. Al-Rishq’s statement likened Israel to Nazi Germany and declared support for American student protesters. The Resistance News Network frequently releases English translations of communiques from U.S.-designated foreign terrorist organizations located in Palestinian-controlled territories, according to the Anti-Defamation League. “Today’s students are tomorrow’s leaders,” Al-Rishq noted.

The pervasive and open antisemitism that has infected our academic institutions, such as Columbia University, with the chants of “Death to America”; rabid support for Hamas, a designated terrorist organization; and gleeful approval of the Oct. 7 massacre of Israeli civilians makes me feel as if we are experiencing the 1930s all over again.

The fact that this is happening in the United States is shocking and disgusting. It is especially horrifying to me, given the stories I heard from my German grandmother about the rise of antisemitism that she saw during the 1930s, such as Kristallnacht in 1938.

Over the weekend, I received an email from a friend who asked me what could be done, if anything, about the college students engaged in this behavior. Is this, he asked, protected free speech under the First Amendment, or is there a legitimate way to protect America from those “who openly advocate its destruction?”

Scientists are testing their hypothesis with a study called the TAME Trial to see whether metformin can slow down aging and prevent disease in older healthy adults. The six-year trial aims to enroll 3,000 people between the ages of 65 and 79.

Tennessee House Republicans on Tuesday passed legislation to allow some trained teachers and school staff to carry firearms despite aggressive opposition from Democrats and gun control advocates calling for the bill to be defeated. The bill is all but guaranteed to become law within weeks, as Gov. Bill Lee can either sign it or allow it to become law without his signature. Lee has never vetoed a bill.

The law requires criminal and mental health background checks of prospective teachers along with training courses and approval from school administrators. Democrats railed against the bill, suggesting that training courses are not enough and that it was “unfair” to burden teachers with the job of defending their classrooms from potential assailants. This argument is strange because teachers are already burdened with the job of protecting students from harm (not to mention their own lives), they just haven’t had the means to do that job until now.

Democrats also stated that armed teachers would “lead to tragedy,” with expectations that merely having a gun in or near a school would inevitably cause a shooting with the teacher at fault. Of course, if a teacher wanted to come to school armed to commit a crime, there’s nothing stopping them anyway (except perhaps another armed teacher).

Earlier this month, the German Parliament, Bundestag, passed a policy that would enable parents to change the gender on their child’s birth certificate if the kid isn’t satisfied with their biological sex at birth, and enforce fines for any citizens who “deadname” or “misgender” other civilians. The Self-Determination Act (SBGG) is an extreme policy that caters to delusion and desire over fact and truth.

As Reduxx reported, parents can alter the sex on a child’s birth certificate once the child turns five, if there is “mutual consent” between the parent and said five-year-old.

The evening network newscasts are barely into their second weeknight covering the violent, pro-Hamas protests outside Columbia University and throughout college campuses across the nation, and there is already a discernible shift in their coverage. Direct threats against Jewish students have all but disappeared from coverage.

Somebody got to the media, plain and simple. Just yesterday, newscasts were reporting on the young girl that stood in front of a group of Jewish counter protesters while holding a sign that read “Al Qassam’s next targets”. Today, those very real, tangible, and unresolved threats hung in the air as each of the networks reported nearly exclusively from the protesters’ perspective.

The roughly four dozen migrants that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis helped fly from Texas to Martha’s Vineyard about a year and a half ago have been granted legal designations due to the Republican’s crimes against the “victims.”

On September 14, 2022, DeSantis emulated immigration policies enforced by Texas Governor Greg Abbott—who has become known for busing migrants to liberal, sanctuary cities like New York and Chicago—and sent two planes of about 50 migrants, including children, from San Antonio to the small, liberal island south of Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

Critics of DeSantis said that sending the migrants, mostly from Venezuela, to the popular vacationing spot was a political stunt that cost Florida taxpayers about $615,000 in total, or about $12,300 per migrant paid out of a $12 million fund to relocate unauthorized immigrants from Florida. Days after they touched down, the migrants—aided by civil rights attorneys—filed a class action lawsuit demanding financial compensation for “economic, emotional and constitutional harms.”

Those same migrants are now able to temporarily live and work legally in the U.S. while avoiding deportation due to applying to receive special visas, the migrants’ immigration attorney, Rachel Self, told The Miami Herald.

As a general rule, rebels without a cause will eventually latch onto the nearest cause of opportunity. It really doesn’t matter what it is, for activists with ample time on their hands and plenty of trust fund money these protests fill the void and make them feel like they have meaning.

Such is the case with the political left and their infatuation with Gaza (or any movement rooted in Islam). It’s been noted by many commentators that the relationship between Islamic fundamentalists and the far-left is a bizarre one. After all, almost every element of Sharia Law is completely antithetical to the proclaimed values of progressives including equal rights for women, equal rights for gays and the leftist penchant for atheism. All of these beliefs might get a person executed in a host of Muslim governed countries, but for some reason the leftist mob wants in on the Islamic bandwagon.
